Rewriting.
This artistic staircase is designed by Olafur Eliasson and its called Umschreibung (Rewriting), and was completed in 2004. It's in the courtyard of the global accounting firm KPMG in Munich. (Link)

Barcode building.
The Russian office Vitruvius & Sons designed a building called ‘Shtrikh Kod': Barcode, for the city of St. Petersburg . The rigorous application of the barcode iconography surprisingly works quite well. It goes so far as that there are actual windows behind the numbers at the sixth floor. You could actually look out from, like, the number five.

Fascinating Light Sculpture
The directors of the National Malus Collection invited Heatherwick Studio to develop the design of this structure, called "The Sitooterie", for their site in Essex.
